SHOW THE
WORK.

This website is a personal publishing and learning project by Sajid Hasan Sifat. These standards explain how I approach original analysis, tutorials, data products and educational material—and how I handle sources, uncertainty, AI assistance, corrections and advertising.

01Original first

Pages should add analysis, explanation, a tool, a worked example or a point of view—not simply rewrite what is already available elsewhere.

02Sources visible

When a claim depends on public data, regulation, research or another organization, the relevant source should be identifiable from the page or methodology.

03Methods inspectable

Important assumptions, metric definitions, grain, calculations and limitations should be clear enough for another analyst to challenge them.

04Corrections welcome

Material factual or analytical errors are corrected when found, with the page updated where the change matters to the conclusion.

01

Authorship and purpose

Unless a page states otherwise, the writing, analysis, examples and editorial decisions on sajidhasansifat.com are produced and published by me, Sajid Hasan Sifat. I work professionally in data analytics across product, growth and business problems. This site is where I publish practical learning material, original research, data stories, tools and experiments in more depth than a portfolio or social post allows.

Professional examples are generalized or fictionalized where needed. The site does not publish confidential employer, client or user information.

02

Research and sourcing

I prefer primary and official sources for factual claims whenever they are available: government publications, regulator documents, company reports, official datasets, product documentation and original research. Secondary sources may be used for context, comparison or interpretation.

Data-heavy articles should identify the underlying dataset or source organization and explain important limitations. A source being official does not make it perfect; revisions, missing observations and definition changes can materially affect analysis.

03

Analytics and data methodology

Analytical work on this site is built around the same checks I use in professional analysis: define the business question, state the grain, define the metric, validate joins and filters, reconcile totals, compare against a baseline and separate observed facts from hypotheses.

Interactive tools and calculators are educational products. Their outputs depend on the inputs, assumptions and source data available at the time. When a result could materially affect a financial, tax, legal or operational decision, readers should verify it against the relevant official source.

04

AI-assisted work

I use software and AI tools as part of normal analytical and publishing workflows—for example to explore code approaches, test wording, debug implementations or accelerate repetitive work. AI output is not treated as an authority or source by itself.

I remain responsible for what is published. Factual claims, calculations, code behavior and recommendations should be reviewed against the underlying data, documentation or source material before publication. I do not intentionally publish generated filler simply to increase page count.

05

Updates and maintenance

Some pages are evergreen; others depend on rates, policies, products or datasets that change. Where freshness materially affects usefulness, I update the page, methodology or source data and may show an updated date. Older content may remain available when it still provides useful historical context.

Broken tools, stale links and outdated claims are treated as maintenance issues rather than permanent features of the site.

06

Corrections and feedback

If you find a factual error, broken source, misleading calculation or important omission, send the page URL and a short explanation. I review material corrections and update the relevant page when warranted.

07

Advertising and editorial independence

The site may use advertising services such as Google AdSense. Advertising does not determine which analyses, tutorials, tools or opinions are published. I do not change an editorial conclusion because an advertiser, ad network or commercial partner would prefer a different one.

Advertising and analytics services may use cookies or similar technologies as described in the privacy policy. Sponsored or paid material, if introduced in the future, should be identified as such.
